Ana and Cenk, or Cenk and Ana?
When you’re a duo, usually one name goes first and the other goes afterwards.
Abbot and Costello
Simon and Garfunkel
Bert and Ernie…
Arguably the most successful songwriting partnership of all time is Lennon-McCartney from the Beatles. But apparently, Paul wasn’t always happy that except for a few songs very early in their career, he always got second billing even on songs that he wrote entirely or almost entirely himself, like “Yesterday”.

And for TYT fans, we have Cenk and Ana. Or do we? 🤔
I think I’ve almost always heard and seen “Cenk and Ana” in that order. But there’s no law saying Cenk has to come first.
Sure, Cenk founded The Young Turks. He’s the OG of TYT. But that was 20 years ago. Maybe it’s time for Ana and Cenk.

Ana is the executive producer of The Young Turks. Although he’s CEO, she outranks him when it comes to the main show.
Ana’s the one who’s gone viral on TikTok on more than one occasion. If today’s youngsters love what Ana has to say, why not give them what they want?
