Totally tubular gifts from the 80s
I have a gnarly Twitter poll that I posted Tuesday that still has about 20 hours left as I’m writing this.
As someone who grew up in the ‘80s, these are things that people talked about all the time that many people thought were totally rad, but that you almost never hear about anymore.
I either wanted, or saw someone else get, all of these as gifts when I was a kid.
What’s your fave between these three options? Or do you think they’re all grody to the max? Or maybe you’re (un)lucky enough not to know what any of these are, or you have another option?
One tweeter, Melissa R Knive Liberal Fully Vaxxed, mentioned the Snoopy Snow Cone Maker. I wish I had thought of that — DUH! But the poll was already out by then.
Right now it’s neck-and-neck between two of the choices, so I guess we’ll see which is the most tubular of all.
