Dog pictures ftw
I don’t share a lot of personal details for professional and family reasons, but it’s hard to resist sharing dog pictures!
On The Young Turks, hosts Ana Kasparian and John Iadorola recently had their dogs do paintings. Ana showed a video of her using peanut butter on a canvas covered with plastic wrap to help encourage her dog to paint. As Charlie (her dog) licked the peanut butter, the paint underneath the plastic wrap spread to make what was a pretty impressive painting.
Because neither I nor my dog are that ambitious, at least for now, I was inspired nonetheless to give my dog peanut butter — in his case, on a lick mat. The pictures were pretty cute even if they didn’t turn out great.
Here’s the tweet with the pictures of Scrappy licking up the peanut butter, and then looking at the camera with his tongue out in anticipation of more peanut butter to lick! Sometimes it’s nice to take a break from worrying and tweeting about the end of the world and just enjoy some quality time with your dog.
