March’s $50 donation, plus exciting news coming soon…
Every month, I give $50 to the progressive organization, show, or cause that gets the most votes in the monthly survey.
In January, progressive host Jeff Waldorf (Around the Nation, part of the TYT Network) got the most votes in eclecticmisc.org’s $50 monthly donation and received a $50 donation to support independent, working-class progressive media.
In February, Jacobin was the top vote-getter, going towards helping the socialist magazine and YouTube producer challenge the capitalist monopoly in the American media.
Who will get March’s donation? It’s up to you, dear reader, to decide. (Well, you and everyone else who votes.)
I’m adding a new choice, now that two of the original choices on the survey have now won: Bernie Sander’s national co-chair for the 2020 race, the one and only Nina Turner. The full slate is, in randomized order:
Kyle Kulinski Show / Secular Talk
Democracy Now!
Justice Democrats
The Young Turks (main show, The Damage Report, more)
Nina Turner for Congress
Freedom from Religion Foundation
Doctors Without Borders
ACLU — American Civil Liberties Union
What do you think? Vote for who you’d like to get the $50 March donation from eclecticmisc.org, and leave your comments below about your choice, the site, whether you think that red or blue should represent the left, or any other random thing.
Plus, come back next week — I’ll be posting daily starting next week and hope to have exciting news for the site!! 🥳
