#GivingTuesday—Where should my $50 donation go?

Today is Giving Tuesday — a great opportunity after Black Friday and Cyber Monday to donate organizations and causes that need our support to help make positive change in this world.

Every month, I have a poll where people who follow or see me on Twitter or visit my blog can weigh in on which organization, candidate, show, or other progressive-friendly cause should get a $50 donation.

Previous winners have included everything from progressive news (Jeff Waldorf’s Around the Nation) to lobbying groups who fight for a cause that’s absolutely essential to progressive goal — ending government corruption (Wolf-PAC) to grassroots environmental activism (The Sunrise Movement).

This month, you can help me decide between these six choices (there’s also a write-in option). I’ll donate $50 to the one that gets the most votes.

Please vote in the poll today — voting ends at 11:59pm Eastern today (Nov. 30). It takes less than a minute according to Survey Monkey!

In the spirit of Giving Tuesday, please also consider donating to one of these, volunteering, or helping spread the word about them. Whether or not you donate or volunteer is completely separate from voting in the poll, but if you can we can help make change together.
