Three-way tie for the Jan. donation poll!

So this is a new development for the monthly donation poll, where you as readers choose which progressive-friendly cause gets a $50 donation.

First of all, thank you to everyone who voted! There are so many causes, it’s been great and appreciated getting your input on which ones to donate to.

In 2021, there were 12 monthly polls (logically enough), and there were two ties. In those cases, I split the $50 and gave $25 to each of the two top vote-getters.

But for last month (January 2022), there was a *three-way* tie! Cori Bush 2022, Justice Democrats, and the MidSouth Food Bank each received 30.77% of the vote.

So I had to make a decision. For the mathematically inclined, you may have already realized that with a $50 donation, it’s impossible to divide it into three equal parts (or at least with traditional money — can you give $16.67777777777… in crypto currency? 😂).

So I decided to round up and give $20 to each of these three worthy causes. If you can, please check them out and consider donating your time or money if you can.
